Here is an affirmative verse for your daily practice from Paul’s Epistle to
the Philippians 4:13, Aramaic P’sheetta text (Errico translation):
“For I overcome all things through the Messiah
(the Anointed) who gives me life!”
We are used to the Greek term “Christ,” but the word in Aramaic is
Msheeha and means “the Anointed.” Christ is not Jesus’ last name but is
a title.
He was anointed by God for his special mission.
In his letter, beginning with verses 11 and 12, Paul mentions all the
trials, sufferings, and other “things” he endured and then concludes with the
quote above in verse 13. We also can affirm the same for ourselves.
