Description
A deeper and fascinating understanding of the fourth gospel of the New Testament. Based on the ancient Aramaic language, Dr. Errico takes the major principal words in the very first eighteen verses of John’s writings—“word,” “at the beginning,” “God”, “only begotten,”life,” and “light.”— revealing their Semitic mystical and metaphysical meaning. The usual English translation of John 1:1-18 does not fully capture the depth and power of these verses. When translating from one language into another it is difficult to fully perceive what it means in the original language.
In this seminar, Dr. Errico presents a new translation of these eighteen verses, not imposing a metaphysical interpretation of his own on the text, but denoting what the language itself reveals. It is a very spiritual and practical approach and what it means for us. John takes us into the consciousness of Jesus of Nazareth. The gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke present the ministry of Jesus, his healing and teaching, but John gives us insight into the very heart and soul that guided Jesus in his life and ministry.”
