Some ministers, biblical scholars/teachers, and others declare and teach that the Bible clearly states than an evil character, known as Satan of Lucifer, does exist and creates havoc in the world. These authorities claim they can point to four specific passages of Scripture that reveal the origin of Lucifer, the archangel of darkness menacing our world, and the so-called doctrine of `Fallen Angeles.` In the Old Testament there are two major prophets’ oracles that are used to prove that Satan exists, and in the New Testament another two sources are St. Peter’s second epistle and the book of the Revelation.
